It all began in a shared flat in Leipzig with an electronic drum kit, guitars, an overloaded mixing desk and a vision that was stronger than the lack of space. What started as casual jam sessions playing covers quickly developed into something of our own: a raw, energetic sound blending alternative rock and grunge, while always remaining authentic and unvarnished.

It was from this dynamic that Names Like Burdens was born. Our music is honest, vulnerable and full of energy.

With the single 'Somebody Else' and our debut EP 'Blurred' (April 2025), we laid the foundations for a journey that will continue in 2026 with more shows and the production of a second EP.
